Weight Loss Broken Down In Simple Terms

Don't believe the hype surrounding the latest crash diets and fads. There is no magic formula to losing weight; it's simple science. Burn off more calories than you take in will result in weight loss every time. Here are the easiest ways to do that.

Start the day as you mean to go on, with either a walk, a jog or a run. The ideal breakfast is something light like a nutritional bar or some fruit, then so your cardio exercise.

Once you've established a pattern of taking cardio exercise in the mornings, you don't have to worry about fitting in any more workouts. Take along your iPod or a friend to chat to; this way burning calories is also a lot of fun.

So how you fell less hungry, stop overeating and also burn calories? By eating more, that's how. 6 small meals spread throughout the day will do all of this, and also boost your metabolism when it starts to flag.

We all know the recommended consumption of fruit and vegetables is 5 per day, but for some this isn't realistic. So make sure you eat 1 large portion per day along with 2 servings of a lean protein, such as chicken. This is also a great metabolism booster and stops that bloated, stuffed feeling.

You can, of course, treat yourself to an occasional hamburger, or ice cream or candy bar, but remember too many of these will reverse all the hard work that you've put in and the pounds will start to pile back on.

Be patient with your body, you are completely changing the routine that it is used to. As soon as you start burning off those calories, you will weigh less, look great and feel great.

Putting in the time and the effort is the only way that you will get the body you want. The clearly visible results really will be worth it.
