On the first night, I figured she'd eaten something bad off the street. On the second night, I figured it was the lingering effects of eating something bad off the street. I just recently found Newman's Own Organics. Would eat only the Newman's' and leave the Wellness to later when she was really hungry. My dogs showed signs of distress within the first 24 hours of eating the new formula. Explosive Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fur became dull. My two small dogs took to the food immediately so well in fact I have had to move up the subscription for the 12 pound bag. Since they are young it's not immediate if they look healthier or bouncier as they seem to be that way all the time.
I'm so disappointed, and no notice on the bag about the new formulation" The old stuff worked GREAT, but I'm sure to save a few bucks, they've changed to cheaper ingredients.
He is more active and seems healthier and happier. No more rendering plant floor sweepings for my dog!

My dog never met a meal she didn't love including this one. The price is very good, especially utilizing the subscription option. I cringed a little after reading the ingredient list. It has way too many grains and not enough quality protein for our dogs.
And, best of all, no more itching or hot spots. Vet believes that she was allergic to corn products in Iams; a common allergy for dogs. Cal Nat and Orijen are the best foods you can buy in my opinion. If you are considering Canidae, I'd recommend you look at Cal Nat or Orijen instead. So, I couldn't believe it when I found it here - Amazon really does sell just about everything! My Shih Tzu's like it and they do not get sick at all like they did periodically on the non-organic but still expensive, "vet-recommended", brands. I checked my bag of food and found nothing written as far as NEW FORMULA. I cooked them all boiled chicken and rice and the symptoms went away. I rotate between Newman's, Nature Balance, and Cesar Milan's organic dog food. My dog eats all three so can't say which is better.
