Some Love Quotes

By Allan Chan

Poems, songs, or quotes are powerful when they reflect how the audience is feeling. It isn't uncommon for people who feel the joy of being in love to need to read some content love quotes to which they can relate. Here are some content love quotes to warm your heart:

Judy Garland once expounded, "For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It wasn't my lips you kissed, but my soul."

"Being loved by somebody gives you strength, while loving someone awfully gives you courage." This quote is from Lao Tzu, a Chinese philosopher.

The French writer Victor Hugo claimed, "The greatest contentment of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved despite ourselves."

Henry Drummond, the Scottish writer, expounded, "To love lavishly is to live abundantly, and to like forever is to live forever."

"Whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same" is a darling quote by Emily Bronte, the English author and poet. She's famous for her classic novel, Wuthering Heights.

The thinker Plato once asserted, "Love is the joy of the good, the joys of the sensible, and the amazement of the gods."

" Love is a transient madness. It erupts like a tremor and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a call. You have got to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is unlikely that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it's not excitement, it's not the promulgation of guarantees of boundless keenness. That's just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.

Love itself is what's left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a lucky accident. Your ma and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we discovered that we were one tree and not two. " That could be a quote by the English novelist Louis De Bernieres from his book "Captain Corelli's Mandolin."

Theodore Seuss Geisel (Doctor. Seuss) claimed, "When you are desperately in love, you can't fall asleep because fact is better than your dreams."

"Love is that condition in which the happiness of someone else is essential to your own," is a quote from "Stranger in a Peculiar Land." The book was authored by science fiction writer, Robert A, Heinlein.

The poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, wrote: "What I do and what I dream include thee, as the wine must taste of its own grapes." "I love you not only for what you are , except for what I'm when I am with you" is another of her satisfied love quotes.
